After the administrative move from the first to the third league in 2005, the story began again with great expectations and potential. Between 2,000 and 3,000 spectators in the stands of Fazanerija in the 3rd League and, given the rank of the competition, a solidly occupied Gringos fan cage. These were the facts that once again confirmed the argument that placed Mura among the big clubs in Slovenia. The group experienced a similar and new boom in 2011, when Mura 05 became a first league player again.
It then folded again in 2013, and in the same year NŠ Mura started competing in the fourth Slovenian league. The club's second collapse was also reflected in the number of Black Gringos fans, who remained true to their roots. Despite the difficult times, ten Black Gringos gathered at the first match after the second collapse, cheering Mura on for the entire ninety minutes.
The Black Gringos were with Mura at every match, and during the years of its resurgence, they traveled with her across the Prekmurje plain and accompanied their beloved players. In the third league, between 150 and 200 Black Gringos gathered at the derbies with Nafta, who provided a fan show with various choreographies. As Mura grew, so did the Black Gringos. In addition to the older members, a subgroup of Youngsters was also organized, the number of which has been increasing over the years.
In the second league (2017/2018), the Black Gringos were more and more numerous, and after returning to the Slovenian football elite (2018/2019), the Black Gringos set new milestones. They were the first "battle line" on the most massive away games of Mura in Ljubljana and Maribor, where they provided extraordinary cheering throughout the ninety minutes and won the sympathy of the entire Slovenian football public. They also provided an extraordinary atmosphere in the city center at the end of May 2019, when they lit a hundred torches on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Mura.
